Permission granted for redevelopment of former Weetabix Factory Site, Corby

12 September 2022

Copley Point Capital, on behalf of its Block Industrial program, has been granted planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Weetabix Factory site on Earlstrees Road, Corby.

To be known as Earlstree 160, the redevelopment will create a new, best in class, 160,800 sq.ft. industrial warehouse facility designed to a minimum BREEAM rating of Very Good and an EPC rating of A.

The 8-acre site is located on Earlstrees Industrial Estate, one of the town’s prime industrial parks, which benefits from excellent access to road infrastructure. The parties acquired the site unconditionally in February this year and have efficiently worked through the design and planning to deliver full approval that now enables construction to proceed.

Separate demolition approvals were secured in spring, meaning the site has already undergone total demolition and clearance, allowing vertical build to start almost immediately. Completion is due in August-23.

Pembury Real Estate is the Development Manager who sourced the site and is overseeing delivery on behalf of Copley Point Capital and Block Industrial.

Cushman & Wakefield, Prop-Search and Potter Learoyd are leasing agents.
